Why Youth Ministry Matters
Our Youth Ministry helps children and teens grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. Surrounded by Christ-loving mentors and peers, they find guidance, encouragement, and safe role models for life’s challenges.
Youth Ministry also strengthens the Church by raising up the next generation of leaders and keeping young people rooted in God’s Word. It supports families by providing resources, sparking faith-filled conversations at home, and nurturing Christ-centred connections.
Most importantly, it impacts the world—teaching young people to love God, love their neighbours, and live out their faith in ways that bring hope, kindness, and light wherever they go.
Meet Our Sunday School Teachers
Cherelle
Cherelle leads our Primary group (ages 4–8). A qualified and experienced primary school teacher, she brings creativity, care, and a love for learning to our youngest children.
Shani
Shani oversees our Secondary group (ages 11+). With over 15 years of teaching experience, she is passionate about guiding young people in their faith and learning journey.
Reina
Reina has been a social worker for 20 years+ has great experience with all aspects of children. She will be supporting both groups, focusing on safeguarding, mentoring, and ensuring every child feels encouraged and cared for.
