At NewDay Ministries, we believe in the biblical principles of tithes and offerings. “The tithe…is the Lord’s: it is holy unto the Lord.” – Leviticus 27:30 (KJV). A tithe represents ten percent of your increase, as taught in Proverbs 3:9–10 (NKJV). An offering, on the other hand, is a freewill gift that you decide in your heart to give. Scripture reminds us that giving is a principle of blessing: “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” – 2 Corinthians 9:6–8 (NKJV).
